What is the Executive Function Support Program?

At Blue Marble, we often meet students who are bright, curious, and capable, yet still find school frustrating or overwhelming. They might understand the material but struggle to stay organized, start assignments, or manage distractions. Executive Functioning helps bridge that gap by focusing on the skills that make learning easier, things like planning, time management, organization, and emotional regulation.

What happens in an Executive Functioning Support session?

Through personalized support, we create an environment where students learn practical strategies that fit their individual needs. Sessions may include building visual schedules, setting achievable goals, using checklists, exploring creative tools like art therapy, or reflecting on what learning strategies work best for them. Over time, students develop the awareness and confidence to manage their own work, balance responsibilities, and approach challenges with greater independence.
